Some tips for using the Overture help centre.

Use the search box

There are many articles in this help centre the most popular of which are on the homepage. If you cannot see the article on the homepage the best way to find what you are looking for will be to use the search box. You can see from the screenshot that the search is pretty comprehensive and contains tags letting you know if the article is an FAQ (text with screenshots) or a Video (screencast with a text transcript).

If you can't find what you are looking for it could be one of two things. Firstly there may not be a help article on your question in which case raise a support ticket with the button at the top of this page, or go to the help link at the top of your Overture account and contact us using the channels mentioned there.

Or, you might need to refine your search terms. In the example adding the merge keyword to find the correct article.

Naming Conventions

Overture was designed to be as flexible as possible to fit in with a variety of different booking agency types. For that reason there may be cases when you are reading a help article and the name of certain section appears differently or may have a different name. For example Artist could also be Act or Group.

The most commonly used terms will be used throughout the help centre articles. You may therefore need to adjust your search term to reflect this difference if you cannot find what you are looking for.

Watch the getting started series

If you are new to Overture please checkout the Getting started series. It's a video series designed specifically for new users to get to grips with Overture workflows. You can use this series to supplement the training that you will receive as part of your Overture set up process or possibly recommend to any new users you might add to your account.
